No Pain For Cakes

Sure do think a lot about food when you're trying to drop a few pounds. Things like "is Arugula an island near Trinidad?" And the Lounge Lizards have a tune titled "No Pain For Cakes" that has caught my imagination and stomach, even though there are no lyrics and there is no singing.

Officially there are six pounds gone since June 1. Unofficially Arugula is actually a branch of the Nubian language tree. Shall madness ensue and I start chomping on the pens and gnawing at the tree bark, thee shall know why.

I'm going in...

six in two weeks is damn good progress, or regress, whatever term you prefer.

i'm doing the opposite direction food fetish. and it feels good.

just keep up the excercises,or if you lose too fast, your body will canabalise itself and you lose all your muscles. and your ass, making sitting down painful. ;)

Gino's right - it is good progress. One thing that has helped me is eating more slowly (as silly as it sounds). I usually eat super fast but I've found that when I slow down, I end up not eating as much. I also make sure I leave something on my plate, even if it's only one bite.

Keep it going!
